STAMFORD — The union representing 38 school and public health nurses has become the third to agree to cost-saving measures in response to a city call for help balancing a budget decimated by the effects of COVID-19.

In reaching a pact with the city, the nurses join UAW Local 2377, which represents 335 city employees, including secretaries, custodians, 911 dispatchers, health inspectors, technology workers, mechanics and others; and the MAA, which represents 115 city managers.
