UAWD Training: Communicating with Coworkers and Building a Shop-Floor Movement

Following our Class Struggle Unionism 101 Training, UAWD is inviting all UAW members to join us for our next training in our Class Struggle on the Shop-Floor series!

To beat the boss and the ruling class, we need to stand together, even in our workplaces where we can have big disagreements. That starts with how we talk to each other—conversations that establish trust with our coworkers, unite around common issues, and bring them into the struggle to fight back together.

Many organizing trainings focus on mobilizing workers through a single, formulaic interaction. If you want a cheat code to get from A to Z in one conversation, this training isn’t for you. But if you want tried-and-true strategies to build relationships and collective worker power for the long-haul, register now.

Our trainers are stewards and Local leaders with years of experience organizing shop-floor struggles in sectors across the UAW.
