Resolution to Name the UAWD Publication “Daily Struggle”
2025 August Special Membership MeetingThis resolution was passed at the August 2025 Special Membership Meeting via Zoom on August 3, 2025.
Whereas the Resolution to Create a UAWD Publication Focused on Class Struggle Unionism, adopted at the June 2025 UAWD member meeting, stipulated that “The title of the publication shall be determined by the [Editorial Board] based on the input of the UAWD membership, which will be solicited at a Membership Meeting”;
Whereas, having solicited ideas and considered several favorable options, on the basis of polling and deliberation on the part of the Editorial Board and among the UAWD membership at large, the Editorial Board has determined that the option for which there is the most support is “Daily Struggle”;
So be it resolved that the title of the UAWD publication shall be “Daily Struggle” and that the Publication Charter shall be amended, in its title and Section VI, to reflect the title.
